Well it has been a really long time since I have put anything on Brayden's Blog. So much has happened since then. Brayden finally got over all of his illnesses that he had and is now doing much better. Since the last time I put anything on this we have found a new church to go to and we love it. Brayden loves going to the nursery and loves one of the older men in their he goes right to him every Sunday. It makes me feel better when I have to leave him. Then there was the snow storm here so it was the first time for him to see snow. He was a little unsure of it but he cooperated for me to take a picture. One big milestone we reached is that he is crawling and walking holding onto toys to things. Then actually on Sunday he took his first few steps it was so exciting but it is really just keeping me much busier now. He has actually taken 5 steps on his own and is moving all over the house I can barely keep up with him. Then of course in February Brayden welcomed one of his new playmates into the world Cason Evans. Whenever we go see them or they come to our house Brayden pays him no attention he just knows that when we go over there he has new toys to play with now. Thanks Cason! Then Ryans grandmother came to visit for Easter and gave Brayden his first chocolate bunny. Braydens Easter was like Christmas for him. He got stuff from both grandparents, my sister and us. It was crazy. Well the last thing is that today Brayden had SURGERY! As you can all see in the pictures that have posted there is a knot above Braydens left eye. Well for those of you that don't know that popped up when he was about six weeks old and we just that it was a bug bite. Well it continued to grow and would never go away the doctor kept telling it was no big deal. So at his nine month checkup the doctor decided that we needed to go have it looked at so we did. It is a Dermoid Cyst. The doctor said it would be better to get it removed now then to wait if we waited it would just get bigger. So we scheduled the surgery and had it removed. The surgery went great he was only out for like 15 minutes but it was the scariest 15 minutes. He did really good overall but had a rough time waking up. It was an outpatient surgery so we are home now and he acting like nothing happened to him today. All he remembers is that he didn't have to go to school today!
